The NFL threw New England a bone when they made the schedule..... They gave them a tough NFC road game that probably doesn't have much consequence if they lose..... And they gave them three straight home games that they probably win with a back-up followed by a roadie at Cleveland. They'll likely be 4-1 when we play them.
I think they would lose at least one of the first four with Brady. NE has a lot of holes and they don't have the players to fill them anymore, thanks to bad drafting for several years. They don't even have a 1st Round pick.

I think they lose to Arizona, Buffalo, and lose one of the other two of the first four games. They limp into the game against the Browns at 1-3, will be 2-3 when we meet them, and will be 2-4 after we punish them and give Brady a dose of reality about the 2016 Patriots, a team that will struggle to make the playoffs. Bengals will leave NE with a 5-1 record and the #1 seed in the AFC.

I thought it was too early for the "Buffalo is going to be good - you watch" talk.

Newsflash -- Buffalo stinks. Miami stinks. The Jets will end up starting Gino, Fitzy or Hoyer's corpse. The division will be finished by Thanksgiving.

If we don't go 3-1 against this crappy division, we are in trouble.

Miami has beaten NE three straight years, and they will be better than they were last year.

While Bills management doesn't realize they've found a QB, they've found one. They have won half their games each of the last three years. It's an intra-division game, and NE has always had trouble scoring points against Ryan, even with Brady, last year's first game being the exception rather than the rule.

Houston had the #2 ranked Defense last year, with no significant losses to that group. They should be better. That Defense can win a Bradyless game by themselves.

Arizona will again be expected to challeng for the Conference Championship.

New England could easily lose all four games.

Fitzpatrick has improved every year he's been in the league. He was a Top-15 QB last season, better than half the Starting QB's in the NFL. He's deserving of the $16M he's asking. He knows how to get the ball to Marshall and Decker. Now he has Forte to throw it to. He'll put up 24+ points against NE giving them a chance to win. The Jets just don't have any money. That's the only reason he isn't signed. They lost their LT because they don't have any money, and they will lose two DT's because they don't have any money. Fitz still makes bone-headed plays that tell you he's not a franchise QB. If he doesn't panic from the loss of Ferguson (the Jets need to draft LT in the first), he should repeat the top-15 effort he had last season. Fitz has 2-3 pretty good years in him right now. The Jets should try to groom some 3rd/4th rd pick and say goodbye to Smith. Leave Hoyer alone. Fitz already knows the system and players. Let Denver have Hoyer.

Fitzpatrick was at the beginning of his career when he was a Bengal. He was bad then, as he shoupd have been. But, every year in his career he's improved to where the last two seasons, he's been a good enough Quarterback to where QB is not the issue on the teams he's been on.

The Jets are stuck. The thing about Fitzpatrick is that he will never be as good as he was last season. So the jets are right not to offer him huge money, but at the same time, they need him because the alternative is not good.

Every year we hear about the Bills and Dolphins..... And a competitive AFC-E.... Every year, the Patriots cruise to the division championship. I don't see it changing this year.
