The thing about video review though is that it can't go either way. You either stick with the call on the ice or have conclusive evidence to the contrary if you overturn it. I can only assume in their minds it was in fact conclusive evidence and could not have gone either way.

Pens were super passive that period. They didn't generate anything offensively, but they were so tight in the defensive zone that even giving up all the shots in the period, it wasn't that many, and only a couple were really good chances.

I'd like to see them push more in the third, though. A lot more. Not getting any shots is a terrible way to play.

Smart play by the Pens not to take any shots that period. Everyone knows your goal total in a series has an upper limit, don't want to waste any whenyou have a 2 goal lead.
