It is not a bad call, but maybe a bad rule instead..

There is no such thing as a quick whistle on it. As soon as you cannot see the puck, you are required to whistle it dead....not wait around and see if you can pick it up again.

It has cost teams playoff goal before.
It is a stupid rule. Refs are told not to even wait a fucking nanosecond before whistling it dead.

Its a bad call because the ref is out of position. And a doubt nanosecond is in the instruction manual lol

Honestly the Refs are bad but that Ice actually I think is worse tonight. Most notably, I think if the ice was good Sissons would have lifted that puck and scored on the breakaway.

Very true. But it is not like we have never seen this before with the ref out of position. Too bad it happened in game 6 of the finals where everyone sees it vs a game in December.
