The complete narrative shift on PK shows what a difference playing in Canada makes. It's also amusing how much perspective influences appreciation for a player. PK whines and is more demonstrative than any guy in the league, but it's viewed as his personality and makes him likable. The comments he made about breathe are seen as amusing and not a distraction because he's a Pred now. Thinking about that if it was Montreal? Oi vey.

I think his demonstrative nature led me to label him that. If one thing doesn't go his way on the ice, he goes all FIFA with the arms in the air asking for calls. Keep in mind, I love PK, and it's part of his personality, and hey, if this playoff led to the change in how hockey fans approach him I'm okay with it.

I wish James Neal wasn't a Pred, that's the one player that makes me wanna puke when I think about the Preds winning this series. I'd be 99% okay, though unhappy, if the Pens lost to NSH, but I can't stand the thought of him winning.

Man, this is just some brutally boring Hockey. I love seeing the Nashville enthusiasm, but why wouldn't the NHL want to demonstrate a better product? The refs can set the tone for what's allowable and they are just letting so much go, it's disgusting hockey.

Not really discussing dirty play, just the interference and stickwork is out of hand. Not calling either team out; players will push the limits of legality. But you can tell how far the line has moved when Neal even remotely thought he might get away with that play.

Curious what neutral fans think. I want the Pens to win, but I also think that the "letting them play" philosophy really backfires when this is the result.

(I do love the intensity, the series is getting heated, but you can still get that calling a tighter game.)
