And then 2.5 games missed by the Warriors 6th best player.


The 1 game suspension that resulted from an accumulation of flagrant fouls isn't even worthy of mentioning in the same breath as injuries that can't be controlled.

Yes it is because it changed things for both teams. Most people agree that if Dray plays in game 5 the Dubs are back 2 back champs.

Ok. What is the magical thing about game 5 vs game 7 that means that the Dubs would have automatically won if Draymond played?

Of course its possible the Warriors win Game 5 if Draymond played. Of course it would've only helped their chances. It just aggravates me when people act like its an automatic. Green wasn't enough for them to get it done in Game 6 or Game 7.

You are correct that Dray's reactions are what made him vulnerable in the first place- but LBJ could've chosen not to get a reaction too by simply stepping around Dray.

But as it turned out our center went out in game 5 & never returned. So there were a couple of supporting factors as to why we ended up with the result we did. I mean the Dubs were up in the series 3-1. All indications were they were on their way to another victory.

I get why you don't want to acknowledge Dray's suspension as a reason for the momentum change, because where would that leave the joy of winning for the fans?
