After digging deep into negotiations with DeMarcus Cousins on a new five-year, $219 million contract extension, a source has confirmed to CSN California that Sacramento has had discussions with the New Orleans Pelicans on a possible trade for the All-Star big man.


No deal is imminent, but according to a person with knowledge of the situation, talks between the Kings and the Pelicans took place over the weekend and there is a 50/50 chance that something will materialize before Thursday’s NBA trade deadline.

Yeah I read about those rumors earlier today, Don't know if Buddy Hield and maybe 2 1st round picks from a team who is unlikely to stay in the lottery is worth it. I liked the Suns or Celtics offers more because those draft picks seemed likely to stay in the lottery. Something has to be done, the Kings can't just tread water and expect the team to turn into contenders or even a playoff team. I'm still in the "I'll believe it when I see it" mindset when I see trade rumors involving Boogie.

The fuck was that shit? I get it. It's the ASG. I'm use to them not playing defense but this was different. Literally no one gave any fucks. Zero. Would it kill them to give 10% effort for the game, have some fun one on ones, and then bump it up to 20% for the 4th? They've done that in recent years. This group should be ashamed.

It was so boring I changed the channel to a nature show on PBS. Did you know prairie dogs have their own language that includes nouns, adjectives, and adverbs? They have unique sounds for each predator they encounter and sounds that tell how far away it is, how quickly its approaching, etc. Every one of them pays attention and if the watcher says the word, they all run and hide. Then when its safe, the watcher gives an all clear and they come back out. And then sometimes, they sing (make little noises) and dance (bob their heads back and forth).
