My dad's a rock but when I talked to him when he answered the phone....he said let me catch my breath and he got a little emotional. That shook me up and I was bawling.....I'm trying to be hopeful but expecting the worst. I did some research after I got off the phone and it's never good when cancer starts surfing throughout the body.

I agree.....when I talked to her.....my mom was like, "I'm 75 and have had a full life.....if I get a few more years I can't complain." Made me cry harder and she said, "Darren, don't cry." I can't believe how strong she has been during this ordeal.

I can't wait to see her and hug her.

Got off the phone with my mom on Saturday and she has cancer in her pancreas and liver.....the news shook me. She's been fighting breast cancer for 20-plus years and it looks like it has turned up in other parts of her body now.

Destroyed my weekend.

lost my mom to it many moons ago...

There are guys in this league that know how to handle things without throwing their team mates & FO under the bus. Being a defending champ obviously has nothing to do with that.
