Yep.
In the 2nd qtr when both Whiteside and Dragic were out, you could see how much deeper and more talent the Spurs have.
Heat fought hard, for all 48.
That's all you can ask for.
It's really the blueprint I'm happy seeing.
At the end of the season, the more losses the better.
As is, the games are still fun to watch.

Yeah they confirmed after the game it was just a cramp. Soon as I saw it in live action I knew it was just that.

He limped back to the locker room a minute before he came back on the court.
Not sure if TV showed that.

Yep that was good action though. That 3 to tie the game by Matthews from about 30 feet out was something else

Keep an eye on them. My gut says they are a sneaky candidate to tank. Come January if they are hovering around 8th, 9th or 10th, I bet they do it. This is a good year to do it because A) It's a good draft and B)So many teams have improved that it shouldn't be too hard to snatch a top 5 pick. Miami is in the same boat. Both teams are in transition and that would be an opportune time to snatch a potential game changer.

(I assume both teams have their draft picks this year)

the Warriors really dont have any assets - and have zero flexibility to make a move it would seem too......especially with Curry's extension looming.

Even if just ZaZa got hurt- that would be a razor thin front court...

Dwight having a rough day, but the Hawks have a big lead on the Sixers.

Dwight will be a plus as long as he takes to Budenholzer's coaching and plays within the system.
He is a dominant low post defender, rebounder and offensive weapon from the low, low post ( he has no range).
So far it looks like Coach Bud has a good handle on how to make this new dynamic work.

Challenge for what exactly ?

The East.
The only way to seriously challenge Cleveland will be with dominant low post defense, a smart motion offense and very good perimeter shooting.
