It'll be interesting to see what happens in a couple of years when they're stuck in mediocre status. Obviously too early to look at his free agency, but he could become a disgruntled player given that they can't put anyone worth a shit around him. But yeah, it sucks that Holliday isn't with the team right now.

Yep, it helps that the game tonight wasn't too close so the starters didn't have to play a ton of minutes but any extra advantage against the Spurs is a problem. Maybe they'll be so pumped about it being the home opener in the new arena that they ride that emotion and momentum to an upset win, but I'd be happy if they at least played the Spurs tough.

8 second violation occurs when shot clock hits 15....not 16

Since when? Now, I know the refs could get a pass because it might take an extra second to look at the clock then look back at the player to see where he is, but they are allowed to call a violation at 16
