CLEVELAND -- The Cavaliers set an NBA record by becoming the first team to have back-to-back regular-season games with 20 3-pointers, according to Elias Sports Bureau research.

The team made 21 on Wednesday in racking up 137 points in a win against the Portland Trail Blazers, and the Cavs piled on 20 more Friday in a 128-90 rout of the Dallas Mavericks. There had been only 25 games in league history in which a team made 20 or more 3s in a game before this week, according to BasketballReference.com.

not a bad guy to have on the field to positively effect recruting

the whole team is down there apparently- going as a team- when was the last time you saw an NBA basketball team do something like that as a team?

2016-17 Regular Season NBA Player Stats and League Leaders - Assists - National Basketball Association - ESPN

some interesting things in these numbers

1. LEBron James is 3rd in the NBA in assists....

2. Chris Paul is 5th- but his assist to turnover ration is an ungodly over 4-1

3. Draymond Green is in the top 10 and has a assist to turnover ration almost as good as Paul's at slightly worse than 4-1....and he gets 7 a game. pretty unreal. Him and Paul are both close to 4-1 and there are barely anyone else that is even 3-1.....Tim Frazier of NO and Ish Smith of Detroit both take care of the ball and get assists at over 3-1....

4. Goran Dragic assist to turnover ration is a pretty bad 1.8-1- Eric Bledose's is even worse. Damian Lillard is also at less than 2-1...Russell is at 1.6-1....

Surprised he's not in Tallahassee for the Gators Seminoles game since he's also a Seminoles fan. Don't know how one can be a fan of multiple college football teams. Almost seems sacrilegious if you ask me.

Umm Thursday. The entire Clippers team were in Dallas Thursday for the Redskins vs Cowboys game. They were on the field also.

I mean he jumped onto the Indians bandwagon during their postseason run while being a Yankees fan, so jumping onto the Buckeye bandwagon isn't a surprise.

You know I'm not a ref blamer, but the calls were/are often horrible, which is why I have always been a proponent of no fouling out.
As I've said before, at 6 or more it should just be handled like a T.

I can't stand Urban in general, but he is a great coach/recruiter.
He doesn't need James for anything.

And as other have pointed out, James is bandwagon to whoever the flavor of the day is.

Any sightings of him at Browns games?

Agreed. Urban has 3 national titles to his name. Lebron isn't doing shit for Urban.
