2015 Pick'em Discussion Thread

I thought I had a shot this week, but after doing a quick look at everyone's picks, we all did well.

My tiebreaker pick of 40 was not so hot.

And I now realize that daylight savings time has ended and it is one hour earlier. Too late, I started drinking my morning coffee.

Jed, this is a nice bunch of pick'ems. You showed me there are a bunch of good games on.

Just about every game is a 50-50 deal for me. Even the two or three pillow fights you have on there are tough ones to pick. Which 1-7 team will win?

I think this week we will see separation.

I'm 8 games behind the leader. In the future I need to change my early season strategy. They're hard to pick because there's not much data to go by.

I've been competitive since the week that I lost by going back to strategies I've used in past seasons.
With the long off-season I tend to forget what they are and make shitty picks in the first few weeks.

Exactly.

There is a bit of straight luck involved in the first half of the season. You don't really have a good identity of each team until they've gone through a few Conference games.

It's always much harder to beat Vegas after 7 or 8 games in. The data doesn't lie.
