Tre Mason should be able to shoulder the majority of the rushes early in the season if the Rams want to end up featuring Gurley. Either way, the Rams have a pretty decent backfield right now after that pick.

Just heard Fisher wants to hold Gurley out until fully healed and healthy-even said if it's a year, he's okay with it. Feels Gurley is that good.

My only downside with him is health- if he can hold up, he's fantastic.

It won't take that long but I doubt he'll be 100% at the beginning of the season. I'd expect him to see more meaningful snaps mid-season after having a support role in a few games before that.
