I think 20 years from now, Gurley over Gordon is going to be one of those "what were they thinking" picks. It reeks of Brock Osweiler over Russell Wilson. Gurley is a solid talent and isn't bad at #10 in a bubble, but they are going to regret passing over a guy in Canton.

when he gets in the open, he's gone.

I was hoping he'd fall to the end of the round, so Dallas could nab him

Not a terrible pick...there's not much for needs for STL if Foles pans out.

Tre Mason should be able to shoulder the majority of the rushes early in the season if the Rams want to end up featuring Gurley. Either way, the Rams have a pretty decent backfield right now after that pick.

I'm surprised people are so surprised. I figured they would go RB there. They needed offense, and there weren't any great OLs available. Taking Parker would have been admitting Austin was a failed pick as a #1 and they weren't willing to surrender that. I thought Gurley was the most likely pick there.

If the Bolts take Gordon, I'm disowning them.

Yea, because Gordon is a sure fire hall of famer. If anyone even held that opinion he would have gone #1 overall.
