MLB Daily Thread: 2015 MLB Playoffs finally begin today.

Ask Pirates fans if they feel like they made the playoffs the last 2 years. The only sport where a 1 game series is acceptable is the MLB. You only feel like you make the playoffs if you actually make it to the best of 5 LDS series

Price is 1-5, with a 4.50 ERA in 10 career playoff appearances, only 5 of which are starts.

But I doubt he's had anywhere near the same run support as he does now.

True but still don't want your starter giving up 4+ runs in the playoffs.....especially not your #1

Price post season numbers is concerning for an ACE. The only year where he was really good was the year when Tampa made the WS

Price was fine last year in his one start - 2 ER over 8 innings. If his team had put more than 1 run on the board it would've been nice, and hopefully that isn't a problem for the Jays.

Price was fine last year in his one start - 2 ER over 8 innings. If his team had put more than 1 run on the board it would've been nice, and hopefully that isn't a problem for the Jays.

He's been up and down. With this lineup though he should be fine as long as he doesn't give up more than 3 runs. He doesn't have to really be dominant with this lineup. He just needs to be solid. 7 IP and 3 ER will likely be good enough IMO
