Miami has always been a ? franchise. They spend every 3 or 4 winters and then that following winter they blow it all up again.

I know that ultimately we all just root for laundry. That is just a fact of pro sports today.
But I don't think I would be able be a fan of a team that creates no connection between their players and fans. The Marlins and As in particular seem to have a mission statement that says they will not allow any players to build a foundation and become a part of the fabric of the team.
The As used to have this. They had a strong history in the 70s and then the late 80s / early 90s teams with the bash brothers and that pitching staff and the 3 consecutive ROYs. But then Bean took over turned it into a fantasy team.
I would go nuts if the Giants had that kind of system in place.
