Uh, hate to break it to you, but those posts you quoted, proved you wrong, not turnup. They said exactly what he said they did, not what you tried to turn them into.
Exactly.
Wiggy acts as though if he leaves the Heat, it's proving some type of negative point when in reality it further proves the point.
Teams will want him because of the unique skill set he brings, and then hoping his game grows from there.
The Heat have basically 60 days to decide which path to choose as far as trying to keep vs assuming they can't or don't want.
Took the Bulls -3.5. After the Lakers broke my heart by winning I have no faith in the Bulls. I was sure the Bucks -2.5 was as close to a lock as you can get.
I'd love to see him on the Lakers. Not for max money, but I could see $12-$15 million on a shorter deal with the possibility of giving him a max after that contract ends, if he continues to develop. If they did, I'd hope they'd have him spend some time with Kareem to help develop his offense.
Jordan on the Clippers gets 19 million. Whiteside is worth that because he is a better defender and probably about the same as a rebounder but Whiteside doesn't get the same amount of mpg. Offensively, I'd say they are about the same.

I think he gets more.
The big salary jump comes the following summer, so if someone gives him 18-20 before then, it's not going to look that bad moving forward.

True. Didn't think about the big jump. Still not sure I'd want to go $18-$20 million for him. But maybe if it's a 3 year deal with a team option on year 3.
G-Russell
G-Clarkson
F-Simmons
F-Randle
C-Whiteside
That's a pretty sick young lineup.
That assumes a lot. Specifically that we'd get Simmons in the lottery. Besides, here's a better lineup:
PG - Russell
SG - Clarkson
SF - Durant
PF - Randle
C - Whiteside
