Finals Virgins.

I don't know whether to put this in the "The Jazz Are The Worst Team In Sports" thread, or the "Magic Words" thread.

But, I think the 1997 Finals were better than the 1998 one, because it was a 2-2 series after 4 games in 1997, as opposed to being down 3-1 after 4 games.

There was more belief for me in 1997.

Also, 1998 had a 42 point loss.

Average margin of defeat in 1997 was (4 points / 6 games) = .667. Meaning yes, the Jazz outscored the Bulls.

In 1998, (-45 points / 6 games) = -7.5 points.

There's no point in calculating what it would have been without that game 3, because game 3 happened. The Jazz have to live with it.

Toronto is 1-8 in game 1's all-time, including home losses to the Nets in 2007 (lost series), Nets in 2014 (lost series), Wizards in 2015 (lost series), and Pacers in 2016 (TBD).

In their one game 1 win, @ Philly in 2001, they still lost the series, in 7 games.

Kanter doesn't bug me. I mean, I don't like him and I will always want his team to lose, but it's no big deal to me. Fisher was a liar, Kanter I don't think he was. Mark Jackson is back stabber, I don't think Kanter is. Byron Scott is a coattail rider who called out Malone we're not having heart and he is a bad coach. McDonalds is a fast food restaurant. I would never recommend you having stinky tofu from Taiwan. Monkeys are not as tall as elephants, but they can get higher in the air.

Do they have stinky tofu in Taiwanese McDonalds?

In my Madrid pics, I took a pic of a McDonalds menu. I wanted to see what it looked like. Some items were different. And some items were things I hadn't seen in the US.

Other than that, I haven't been to a McDonalds in several years. Last time was 2-3 years ago, and it was only to ask where some other place was.

jayswag has 3 kids. He takes his kids to McDonalds for their birthday. They always have a smile during that birthday meal. It's nice to see. And interesting that all 3 of his kids like it. I would have thought that the more kids one has, the odds would be that one would rather eat somewhere else.

For example, when my nephew was little, he wanted his birthday meal at Noah's Bagels.

Coincidentally, we played a game at work today.

First, we had to close our eyes, and imagine ourselves to be an animal.

Then, without saying what it was, we had to act out that animal (movement and/or noises), and then organize ourselves from smallest animal to largest.

We had a few elephants. A few monkeys too.

One person who was elephant, grabbed a bag of peanuts and mimicked putting it in his mouth, with his "trunk".

Lin has been playing really well in the playoffs. Fun to watch.

I had Charlotte in 7 before the series started.

Let's see if they can close it out in game 6. Going to be tough, since there's not much that separates them from Miami.

The 3 Eastern series that are alive are the best of the 1st round. Boston-Atlanta, and Indiana-Toronto.

Let's see if Atlanta can finish off Boston, and if Korver can stay healthy for this playoffs run. It's disappointing that his regular season was not close to as good as last year's historic one. But maybe he can play well in the playoffs.

Marvin Williams was also ok in yesterday's game, he had some big moments.

I don't know if he's had a good series, haven't thought or analyzed it.

But good to see.

In the Indiana-Toronto series, game 6, Carroll came out really well as Toronto lead 18-6.

He wouldn't play as well as the Raptors were then outscored the rest of the game.

Barkley says resigning Batum and Lin should be the top priority for Charlotte. He says he really likes the way Lin plays, and praises his constant attack, whether he's having a good game or not.
