I believe either Worley or Peterman will be named the starter, but I'm sure we'll see Dobbs at some point. I've heard he has looked very impressive.

What Tiger, a Memphis Tiger? If so, they're off to the newly formed AAC (American Athletic Conference).

That's cool, I pull for both Tennessee and MTSU. Grew up in Nashville, then moved to Murfreesboro when I was about 8. Went to my first game in '99 and have been a fan ever since. I moved back to Nashville when I was 15, but try to make it to as many Blue Raiders games as I can. I hate it when both Tennessee and MTSU have to play each other.

Jackson is no longer a Vol. With Jones saying that we will sign 30, we have 3 spots open. The problem is that we need to still have some holes to shore up. The Berry twins are more than likely silent commits and it appears that we lead for Josh Malone. That gives us another DB, WR and LB/S. We still need another DT and it appears that Jones is going after some JUCO stars. It looks like Lamin and Reed are the top targets with Heurtelou as the fall back. Keep in mind we are still thin at RB as well. Perfect world

Malone announces on December 4. I am expecting Mosley to commit any day now. That would give us 31. Not sure if we can sign that many. Somebody would have to grayshirt for sure. We need Malone and Mosley badly.

Do you feel confident that we'll beat UGA for Malone? I know Mosely is high in Bama, but I'd give us the edge at the moment. Hopefully they'll both be Vols by NSD.

Yes, I think Malone is a lock. He is good friends with Barnett and Gaulden and he has to like the fact that North is playing so much off the back. He would easily crack the 4 deep rotation (Pig, North, Pearson and Malone). We have a young QB who likes to sling it around as well. I think this all bodes well for us.

Mosely is high on Bama for sure, I am just not sure they will take him at the end of the day as they will surely flip a 5 star who plays his same position. We will lose a player or two in the class....no doubt. That being said, we could actually get Malone, Mosely and someone like Lamin, Reed or McDowdell. We need as many linemen as possible.

Hope you're right about Malone, and would love to add Mosely or one of the Juco guys. I think this class is going to look much like UGA's class last year - big numbers and very solid top to bottom.
