How would you guys grade my draft?

1. Zack Martin, OT/OG, Notre Dame
2. JuWaun James, OT, Tennessee
3. Tre Mason, RB, Auburn
4. Terrence Brooks, S, Florida State

Needs have been addressed in a big way. Landing 4 top notch prospects. If Brooks performs well at the combine and workouts, he could sneak into the 2nd round.

Solidfying the OL was a great start... need to after current events. Now Tannehill should start flourishing IMO... if not, new can to open.

Not to big on Tre Mason personally, but could be a good pick. IF RB was a real need, not sure that could've been answered honestly in this draft... Maybe you look at defense in that position? but if you felt Tre is going to be a good piece for the offense then its a good pick.

Brooks is coming along and may rise in the boards after the combine, good value IMO. secondary was an issue from my outsider POV for Miami.

Wow..the Chiefs draft so far is 2 Wide Receivers...

Yeah, I really wanted to load up at the top with WR since it's a major need, and without a 2nd. I'm a USC fan so it was tough to pass on Lee, but I really like Robinsons all around game and think he has #1 potential. Richardson is thin but I think he'll be a nice compliment in the slot eventually. I was thinking Cooks but he was taken right beforehand.

Martin: A, James A or A-. Mason C+. I think he was mostly a product of the system he was in. He runs high like that RB you got out of Kansas St. Good vision but not a ton of speed and he isn't known as a receiver or blocker.

I was actually watching footage of the national championship game to see if I wanted to take Brooks in rd 4. Brooks played really well for the most part against Auburn and Mason except for 2 plays where he had no chance. (1 he was looking at 3 Auburn blockers and he was cut off by another Florida St player on the other). I'd give Brooks a B+. I'm worried about his lack of straight line speed but I'd wager he has the highest football IQ of all safeties in this draft because he used to be a CB and a RB.

I had Brooks as #4 on my big board behind the Clemson CB, someone that hasn't been taken yet, and the RB out of LSU.

I thought the same as you about Mason but then I sat down and watched some games. He has a quick first step and he is very elusive. Speed is an overrated quality. You do not need top end speed to be a great RB in this league. Mason really knows how to lower the boom and fall forward. He will work well along side Miller. Daniel Thomas is a bust. He can't hit the hole, he doesn't finish runs, he doesn't play big. So Mason is his replacement. Hyde was my guy, but he got taken.

Yes, RB is a big need. Miller has flashed, but can't trust him to carry the load yet. Daniel Thomas is a bust and will most likely be looking for a new job soon. So I figure we are going to use our money on some other lineman in FA and franchise Grimes, so we have to look to the draft to bring in some fresh legs.

Big fan of the Dozier pick. I had him as BPA at the moment and he fits the Chiefs team needs perfectly. The Chiefs absolutely need a WR but their oline is probably a bigger deal considering how important a good oline is to Charles and Smith

Yeah I like my draft so far, stocking up at WR and getting a 3rd round quality OL who can maybe replace Allen or Asamoah if they leave. I'm not a big fan of either one. Albert will be gone too.
