Jeremy Hill might be the first running back picked in real life. Excellent value here. I considered him but I really didnt want another young RB

Hill would be a perfect complement to Ellington. I hope he can run a sub 4.55 40 at the combine. The Cards would also be a good place for him to get some mentoring for his "issues". And the Cards are full of LSU players.

No worries, it was a great pick he was one of 2 players left on my board for my next pick.

Yea he will make a great addition. I try to have all of our picks hammered out in the war room long before we are OTC.

The NFL is in general. Its one of the few schools where I see the name and think its a bonus when it comes to NFL prospects.

As much as Alabama is known for producing pro ready stars in the NFL I would say LSU has them beat for actual quality starters in the NFL but that might just be me.

Yeah they are both obviously top schools probably only outdone by the Florida schools.

Yeah. Certain schools come up a lot. I hear LSU and Louisville more than anyone else when I'm actually listening to the lineup announcements. Louisville is a factory too. Strange. I guess they are an above average program, but you don't think of them when you think college football.

Clemson, Wisconsin, Urban Meyer teams and to a lesser extent Mizzou all come to mind, as well.

How would you guys grade my draft?

1. Zack Martin, OT/OG, Notre Dame
2. JuWaun James, OT, Tennessee
3. Tre Mason, RB, Auburn
4. Terrence Brooks, S, Florida State

Needs have been addressed in a big way. Landing 4 top notch prospects. If Brooks performs well at the combine and workouts, he could sneak into the 2nd round.

Well they do need to take some of the pressure off of Charles. He really is their offense. And maybe with some fresh legs, it will motivate Bowe, and the coverage won't be able to key on him. It will really open up the Chiefs' offense and make them a complete team if they can retain their level of defensive play.

Martin: A, James A or A-. Mason C+. I think he was mostly a product of the system he was in. He runs high like that RB you got out of Kansas St. Good vision but not a ton of speed and he isn't known as a receiver or blocker.

I was actually watching footage of the national championship game to see if I wanted to take Brooks in rd 4. Brooks played really well for the most part against Auburn and Mason except for 2 plays where he had no chance. (1 he was looking at 3 Auburn blockers and he was cut off by another Florida St player on the other). I'd give Brooks a B+. I'm worried about his lack of straight line speed but I'd wager he has the highest football IQ of all safeties in this draft because he used to be a CB and a RB.

I had Brooks as #4 on my big board behind the Clemson CB, someone that hasn't been taken yet, and the RB out of LSU.
