What's up fellows? See we haven't made it to the 7th Round yet, so I'll just keep checking in. Good job on getting this far, and every team having made their picks. Keep it rolling.

Btw, just as a reminder, I don't see how anybody beats the Chargers draft this year. Short but sweet:

Rd 1: Kyle Van Noy
Rd 2: Jason Verrett
Rd 3: Cyril Richardson

** We had basically 3 needs - OG, CB, and DE/OLB for the 3-4 defense, (and maybe WR).

See ya in the 7th. Cheers.

All 3 of those picks the Redskin's wanted. :bawling:

Yeah, if the Chargers were somehow to get those 3 I'll be jumping for joy. Basically filled all 3 needs with First round grades. I did give up the rest of my draft except 2 7th round picks - but right now it looks worth it.

Kyle Van Noy and Manit Teo solidifies our LB core for years to come.

King Dunlap, Cyril Richardson, and DJ Fluker solidifies our O-Line for years to come.

Jason Verrett is undersized, but has the best instincts of any CB in the draft. Easily a top 4 CB who I somehow got late in the 2nd.

Richardson is a guy I am torn on. Beginning of the season the guy looked like the most dominant player in college football. As the season wore on though he seemed to fall back to earth some and then at the Senior Bowl just got blown up in one on one drills. So if you get the guy that showed up at the beginning of the year yeah you got a steal. If you got the guy who looked like he was on skates at the Senior Bowl then Rivers could be in for a long year.

I don't take much in the one on one drills. Very seldom does a person go one on one without disguise.

I understand that but to me it make me wonder how well he will do when asked to step in one on one. He also struggled to get any kind of push during the week in run blocking. For being a big man he looked very weak at the Senior Bowl. Now given his film especially in the earlier part of the season shows him driving guys straight back but he really tailed off as the season went on. My guess is that sends up a red flag on conditioning. Especially when you consider he will be playing more games once he comes to the NFL.

I wonder how much that weight tires him out.

Well 350 lbs even for a tall guy like him is a lot to carry around for anybody. If I drafted him I would probably ask him to work on some conditioning and take a little of the weight off. Maybe get down in that 325 range. To me he could be even more explosive having more energy to use at that weight than the 350 lbs. So he is somewhat a risk to take but one that I would think is worth it considering he does have the potential to be a very dominant guard in the NFL. I think being in an NFL training program will help him immensely

Recent mock draft has the Falcons grabbing Robinson at 6th overall, it's like they read the boards and used me as an example :D

Also will make my pick in a minute.

I know it's a mock draft, but Sam falling all the way to the 4th round? No problem scooping him up there.

I like the Kareem Martin pick.

He was my target for the Broncos. I didn't figure he would fall all the way to the end of the 4th but this guy has some major talent. Heck he finished the year top 10 in sacks and TFL in college football and has an NFL type body with even some room to grow. He also is pretty darn quick coming off the edge with something like 4.7 type speed.

I agree. I think the weight and an average senior bowl is the only reason he is not currently an early projection. However, weight and conditioning are 2 of the easiest things to fix.

Also, regardless of weight - to get him in the 3rd round is a steal and I don't see it happening come May.
