I would think so... for my niners, I would pegged him in as a SS.... the safety roles for the SF defense are suppose to be interchangeable but Bailey adds some serious muscle and athleticism IMO

Bailey is a great pick. This late in the 3rd round for the Espn's Top 5 Safety.

What safety position does Reid play? I thought he was a Free Safety as well. Are you planning on moving one of them to the SS position? Maybe I am just way off.

Great use of the Bronco pick there Smart. Jeffcoat isn't always the flashy player but he is a guy that brings his best every play and will be a nice addition to the Bears rotation with a chance to start pretty quick.

Yeah, I was just glad he was still available. It was a pretty big (and stupid) risk to wait until my 4th pick to take a DL. With the possible exception of safety, that is clearly the biggest problem in Chicago.

Well you lucked out a bit getting a guy like Jeffcoat. He won't be a top tier pass rusher but the guy is very impressive in my book. I don't know why he isn't getting hyped a bit more after the season he just had.

Reid stays at FS, some fans thinks a SS move but no way. Reid was a beast this year, 2nd IIRC for RDPOY.... He had a rare game at the NFC title game but all season, he shut lanes and laid big hits.

I have Bailey as a groom or maybe starter if Whitner bolts or we dont sign a SS(I like TJ Ward from the Browns). Bailey is a big time player... I like the potential that was there at the backend of Rd 3

not to mention, he was an OLB for awhile... i see SS IMO...
