I feel you, but, if Dantoni is our guy and we did get Rondo we'd need to put scorers around him... Rondo was good distributing to Allen Pierce and KG without fear I think he would set Kobe and Melo up without fear of being yelled at... But we need star power, Love would be the better choice though in retrospect...
