I don't hate the player- very good looking TE prospect, but Donald or Dennard or Clinton-Dix or a trade back all would have been better options, imo.

Jimmy Graham? Ebron is 6'4". He is the 3rd tallest TE on the Lions roster and we have two WR's taller than him. Jimmy Graham is 6'7" and ran faster than Ebron at the combine. Oh yeah -- Graham was drafted in the 3rd round.

And we wonder why the Lions continue to take one step forward and two steps back.

Well I don't think Ebron is a bum.. I expect him to put up solid numbers... I just think they should have gone DB..

There is what Mayhew has done constantly during his tenure. You get a guy showing potential like Fuaria, he resigns Pettigrew and then drafts a TE with a top 10 pick?? Why?? Why?? why??

How does that make any sense?? Two TE sets right? We have two already. He just pushed Fauria to the bench and Williams off the team.

The guy is simply clueless

Three of them will be on the field at once quite a bit. CJ, Tate and Ebron wide. This bumps Durham more than Williams. But Williams has never played a down, so who cares really?

Plenty of CBs to chose from and 2 LBs for sure so still time. I would shed one of those 4ths to trade up in late in the 2nd round from our 3rd. Get a LB and CB the next 2

Can you give one night to sulk?? I know he will be problems. What scares me is now when does Mayhew take a WR in this draft? He will early so not getting my defense.

Lombardi seems to be wanting to run same style offense as Payton was. One reason I will not sulk long. Payton was a master at creating mismatches. We as fans have not seen this for years.
