I get that it is good for the players but that will really suck for the fans. The NBA is about the only thing going on at that point. NFL/CFB is done and MLB has not started yet. It is NBA or CBB.

Don't really care about the schedule. Everyone plays everyone anyway. And as far as tough stretches go, that doesn't matter either because since its 82 games, it will all balance out with time.

The games on NBATV shouldn't be considered national tv. They don't even have their own announcers. They usually use the home team feed.

National TV is ESPN/ABC & TNT

Tough stretches do matter.

Especially when those stretches are. You don't want to have a tough stretch to start the year (if there's a new group of players who need jell with each other) or at the end of the year when you will be fighting for your playoffs life

Even though they're gonna be terrible...I'm surprised Boston only has 4 televised games.

With Nash and Kobe, I'm sure the Lakers aren't complaining about the extra time off during AS break....aside from CLE/MIA, CHI/LAL, LAL/HOU, GSW/LAC not too many other storylines that will make for interesting storylines. You know the natl channels will milk those to the nubs.

Countdown has begun and can't wait to see my Lakers and what they'll do with Byron running team

A home game for the Cavs against the Knicks is not a particularly tough task to start with....

but 4 of the first games 5 games on the road including 2 on b2b's is.

I just don't think they matter all that much in the grand scheme of things. All teams face them. When you factor in everyone else's schedules, the distance traveled, if you're facing a team with an injured player, so many other variables, all that stuff balances out over the course of the season and no one team is significantly affected one way or the other. It may be out there somewhere but I'd like to see schedule toughness ratings from years past and compare it to where that team actually finished.
