What do you think Jack Z will do this offseason? Go for more top free agents or will he be more cautious as he realized last year?

I don't think he'll really do much.

Same old same old. He'll probably make offers for older veterans to come to ST and see if they can make the team. He may try to pull off a middle of the road trade. In the end, the team will look very similar as it did this season. Unless something happens, the only improvement the M's will make this off season will be if the young players get better.

Jack Z will make a Bavasian type of trade and sign Ellsbury to a 200M deal.

I hope they go after ellsbury and not stanton. Go for small time trades ala the morse trade or dont trade. The ms have less than 50 mil in 2014 payroll. They have lots of money to spend especially with the increased revenue for that tv deal (80 mil more in tv revenue per year).

Im starting to fell like the opposite is what he'll do. Alot of this hunch i have is based off what wedge saying the reason he left is because he wants to stick with the kids and add free agents but the Ms want to go in a different direction that hes says lacks "consistency with personnel. Every time you turn over, you start over again to a certain extent." If you believe wedge that seems to mean he thinks we plan on trading some youngsters like we tried to do last year.

If wedge is being truthful here(big if) im on his side. Id rather have walker, franklin, pryor, furbush and ellsbury then upton or stanton.
