Regarding Mirco, if he was paired with Ryan Murray (2nd overall pick in 2012), how much of his performance could have been attributed to benefitting from Murray's performance? I fear that Murray made him look good.

Murray only played 23 games last year and at no point was ever 100% healthy. I'm sure playing next to Murray helped when he was in the line up but it was never a matter of Murray carrying Mueller.

I should have done some more homework on that. Good to know Mirco can hold his own and was not relying on Murray for much.

IMO Brayden Colburn is a better comparable. I've seen a few things on other forums where Kekalianen (Blue Jackets GM) compared him to Ryan Suter after he was selected in the CHL import draft. The Sharks believe they have a future #1 two way dman in Mueller.

A little more on Galimov. Receintly interviewed he says he will spend next year with Locomotiv then there's a good chance he'll come to NA. Says he models his game after Valeri Kamensky.

Haha where was this kid the last 4 years? Seems weird that he just popped up as a 21 year old with heaps of potential.
