Then you woke up. Nice homer picks. So you have the Giants going 11-5 then beating both the 49ers & the Seahawks to get to the SB (where no doubt you will pick them over the Broncos)? Have you looked at the Giants schedule? They have to play their typical NFC-E schedule (not easy) as well as tough games against the Broncos, Packers & have to travel to Chicago & Seattle among other places. 11-5 sounds like a dream to me.

Good luck.

Yes, it is definitely a tall order, but I said what the hell? I figure most will pick the "usual suspects." I thought I'd live outside the box a little bit (or a lot). I have GB missing the playoffs, DET winning the North, KC going from 2-14 to 10-6 (which is not unheard of), TEN getting in, CIN with the best record, OAK as one of the worst teams (LOL), and NYG winning the Super Bowl on their home field. It could happen.

I don't think your scenario is unreasonable but there are a few individual predictions (especially record) that I, for one would be extremely surprised if they come true:

the bengals at 13-3 and the #1 AFC seed.

the lions winning the nfc north

Any team in the afc west besides denver wining more than 5 games

The titans winning more the 7 games

Finally, while I think it is as reasonable to say the giants will win the NFC east as any other team in that division they would not be among my first 7 choices to represent the NFC in the SB.

But again, there isn't anything that you did that I don't think is at least possible and as good a stab at is as anything else I have seen at this point; for whatever that is worth

I don't think that's even close to right. SD will almost certainly win more than five games and I think that KC will too. In fact, I'd be less surprised by both of them finishing with at least eight wins than if neither wins more than five games.

Well neither one of us knows for certain, but if someone wanted to bet concerning which one of us was right, I am not sure they would be taking advise from you giving you v cash total. I am betting that the afc west is even going to be worse than last year given all the turnover and turmoil for each of those teams

I know that isn't much, to go on, but its all I got. Fortunately, its more than you can come up with.:yahoo:

49ers to win the Super Bowl.

The Chargers will miss the playoffs & finish in the bottom 10 this year.

It was probably time for shotty to go at the end of 2006, he was a very good coach in general, but he just didn't have that indefinable "something" that could get his teams over that top. but they could not have found someone worse to turn to than turner if they had intentionally wanted to turn the team into a train wreck. If the chargers had hired just about anyone other than turner I think things could have gone so much different for that franchise.

Bills are going 16-0

EJ Manual is going to make everyone forget about Mark Sanchez.

As the only New York NFL team that actually plays in New York, it is only appropriate that your team plays the SB in New Jersey.

You are going to Disney World.

Thats right and then the state population on NY state will suddenly drop when all of Upstate NY has a collective heart attack.

LOL I lost my vcash betting baseball, not football! Not that I won't pick some football losers when I get the chance, provided I still have some vcash left. And my vcash account balance could be much healthier here in a few minutes. Just need NYM to hold on for a win and for them and Atlanta to combine for at least one more run in the ninth!

49ers to win the Super Bowl.

The Chargers will miss the playoffs & finish in the bottom 10 this year.

That will end the 4 year run of the Eagles home opener opponent winning the SB. Chargers play at Philly in week 2. For previous years the Eagles opening opponents were the Ravens, Giants, Packers & Saints all of whom went on to win the SB that year. It would take a miracle for the Chargers to be the 5th.
