yeah, beat me to it
Well... here's the major reason...
Just throwing it out there: theo riddick is averaging more ypc than lattamore was this season. Same with cierre wood, who has more yards on 30 or so less carries...ND's run game is no joke, we just have to score TDs instead of kicking fgs.
That doesnt need squat...your QB is gonna have to play best game of his life, like Manziel did. No team runs on these teams, especially in big games, your QB will have to be a playmaker and Defense has to hold team to FGs. You do all this and y'all might have a chance
Ohh sorry...Lattimore, one of if not the best and most talented back in the nation, got ya. Dont worry you will see soon enough.Lattamore and SCAR ran all over Georgia. The respect you keep giving Georgia's D is baffling.
Gonna be a good game.
I think it depends on Murray. If he can play mistake free, then UGA will have a chance to win.
See the LSU and A&M games..
Mettenburger played flawless football and never made a single mistake, and LSU almost won.
Manziel also played completely mistake free the whole game, and his team won.
So I think if Murray plays mistake free, then we'll be on the edge of our seat in the final minutes, but if he screws up any, I could see us winning by 10-14 points.
Another thing I forgot to mention is that Bama also must play mistake free like they normally do. We did some things in our two close games that were very uncharacteristic for our team..
One was the fumbled hand off inside the LSU 5 yard line, another was a muffed punt. That's shit that we didn't normally do, and they were self-inflicted mistakes.
Against A&M, our WR's fucked AJ on two occasions..One was tipping a perfectly catchable ball into the defenders hands, another time was screwing up the route on the last interception.
So I don't want it to sound like only UGA has to play mistake free because Bama is so good. Bama has to not fuck up also.
Hopefully we've gone back to the basics for a bit, and make sure we catch the punts or get out of the way, or make sure we're holding on to the ball, and running the routes properly.
And then in the post before you laugh away my post regarding two of ND's rbs averaging more ypc than lattamore (the best back in the nation) was this season.
Do they play the same teams, do they play in the same offense?? No. And plus Lattimore wasnt healthy even when he was on field.
"Ohh sorry...Lattimore, one of if not the best and most talented back in the nation, got ya."
We're going in circles here.
"georgia got ran over by Lattimore"
"No shit he's the most talented back in CFB."
"Well two of ND's runningbacks average more ypc than he had been averaging."
"One, they play in different offenses, and the main goal of Lattimore wasn't to get as many ypc as he could. Two, they don't play the same teams (True, SCAR played wayyyy more scrubs). Lastly, he was injured! (Except for the Georgia game?)
I give Georgia a chance. This Alabama team is not as good as last year.
Georgia will have their hands full with Eddie Lacy and Yeldon this weekend. Lacy is a 1000yd rusher while Yeldon is only 200 yds behind.
