2011 Cup Finals Storyline

Every year there is some storyline, play, or point of interested that I think of for each Cup Final. For example, my thought on each of the past few cups are such:

2010: Blackhawks prove they have the best team on the ice as well as paper over the season by humiliating the Flyers

2009: Absent since I was busy during the finals

2008: The Pretender Penguins are proven not strong enough despite the media being on their bandwagon all playoffs long

2007: Anaheim bullies the Sens and wins with relative easy

2006: Huge Excess of Power Plays and penalties

2004: Worrying about the lockout overshadowed Tampa's run for me

2003: Mighty Ducks had no chance of ever winning in NJ, and thus the cup.

2002: Irbe and Weekes hot streaks wore out in an uneventful finals

2001: Blacked out those memories




So what is everyone's opinion on the Cup Finals this year?

As of now all I can think about is the back and forth mind games through the media with both teams complaining about pretty much everything.

when the less physical of two teams spends 2 games poking the bear (no pun intended) you might be in for a rude awakening if that bear wakes up

This. If Vancouver continues to try and play phsyical, grinding type of hockey they will lose this series.
