I'm not surprised that a bunch of cans that have John Elway barely in their top 500 QBs of all time think that a guy who averaged 33/105/.288 for a 162 game season is overrated.

I could talk about this forever if anything just to piss of @femurov. The problem with Elway is he is remembered for going on out top which was because of Terrell Davis, no TD on that team no Championships! Also he is remembered for the drive against Cleveland. What people don't remember is in the following game which was of course Super Bowl XXI they got crushed by the Giants. Elway has probably the two worst Super Bowl performances by a QB of all time. Yet all his apologists remember is the drive and TD winning them two Super Bowls.

Why should QBs get punished for leading their teams past where they should've gone. I don't blame Rodgers for winning the game against Dallas they really had no business winning with that defense. Only difference was at QB. Caught up to them against Atlanta.

Those Broncos teams had no other players close to HOF caliber except maybe Atwater. They're not beating the 49ers dynasty or the redskins
