LOL, I honestly dont think Marty has played any better in his two shutouts than he did in the losses, I think the defense however did much better.

Definitely got some lucky bounces tonight. But let's be honest, you have to get a few bounces to consistently win in this league.

i actually thought brodeur finally played very well. he looked sharp tonight.

He had a few rebounds that the d was able to take care of. The only bad play was on the Gionta facemask save. Tough turnover there, but other than that he was solid.

Defense played very well. A lot of blocked shots and helped a lot Marty on rebounds.

Defense played good and Marty was very solid. That point blank pad save on Gionta was the key save of the game.

the save on Gio just set the tone for the game.. once he made that one it was over

Only one game but they definitely played the defensive style we've all grown accustomed to.hopefully they carry it over to the next game and build on it.even tallinder used the body and u can't say I've seen him do that until last night.
