Bad Parker showed up.
The series was pretty obvious. I made the prediction on the 3rd posting of this thread.
The whole series will depend on how Tony Parker plays.

It will be a short series if Parker is semi-competent. He doesnt really need to be good....only mediocre.
Memphis can extend it a few games if Parker is the worst player on the court.

zero assists and zero points through 3 quarters is about as bad as he can play so far.

this is so true- this team really goes as Parker goes to a certain extent. They need him to play extremely well if they are to make the Finals.

Aldridge is just too soft for my liking. Hes cast nicely as a #2- but i dunno. I just dont trust that guy when the going gets tough.

I agree as well Parker is a huge key for the Spurs. I just think he is pretty much done. If he comes out flat and some role players dont step up for SA I could see Memphis tieing this seriss up. With that being said, I expect LA to have a big game and for the Spurs to go up 3-1

Can you imagine if Chris Paul goes to the Spurs? Then we will really have 2 superteams battling.

I think Parker is finished as well. This year he averaged the fewest points, assists & minutes since his rookie year. His next stop will be the HOF.

The Spurs will groom Murray, but likely make a feeler for CP3.

If not, they will pick up Derrick Rose for the mid-level and hope to extend the grooming period.

I dont think he is quite ready, so they are going to need a quality vet for one more year.
