OKC doesn't even attempt to run an offense in these 4th quarters. The game was right there for the taking if they could have even been semi-functional but NOPE.

Westbrook is just like that ballhog dude you see at the rec center or park that scores all 21 points but it'll take him 50 shot attempts to do so. Way too erratic. Is Billy Donovan the coach or is it still Scott Brooks?

Not like it matters. This roster is setup to encourage Westbrook to try and do everything. No discipline, no consistency, no structure. OKC will never win a title with this pick-up style. When Dion Waiters is one of your go-to bench players for production, you know you're fucked.

Hopefully KD smartens up and moves on from this in the summer.

I did not understand why everyone thought the SPURS would have an easy series.
This not some 48 win team that is an also-ran most years.

They would be doing the same thing to GSW or CLE as well.
They have better starters than just about anyone.

OKC has been a legitimate Finals contender the 6 seasons.
When fully healthy, they are always a threat to be the #1 or #2 seed in most years.

I would say SAS, GSW, MIA, and OKC have really been the only consistent contenders since 2010.

Thunder look like the better team but the Spurs are just better at shooting the basketball. One team goes 10-19 from 3 then they should pretty much always beat the other team. Parker hitting his jumpshot, LA hitting turnaround fadeaway nonsense?

He was going wild to the hoop at full speed with no chance of finishing and made some really bad turnovers late. We're not talking about a role player here. He's supposed to be a MVP candidate and a franchise guy. Franchise guys shouldn't be making the mistakes he made late. You could say any team would be down 10-15 if their franchise guy is out. That's besides the point. What does matter is what they do when they are in.

Leonard was wild, too, but finished a lot better. Spurs were doubling Durant on a good number of plays so others need to step up. Westbrook probably does need to play under more control but he also needs to keep attacking.

I hate when they randomly decide to actually start at the time they say they're going to start. I assumed they were going to tip off at, like, 8:10.
