Claude Giroux is a man on a mission. I'm going to have to get a jersey asap. It's as if Richie has taken a step back (whether due to injury or not, we don't yet know) and Giroux is now the guy who does absolutely everything for the Flyers. He's the most complete player on the team and it's not even close. Richie used to be that guy and it wasn't that long ago.

Sorry Sabres fans things were going well until Bob was pulled. Miller gave up 5 goals & Philly went 1 for 10 on the powerplay. Something just doesn't seem right about that. I have one question for Flyers fans. When will your organization realize they can't win the cup without a goalie?

The Sabres played a stupid game. Yes they killed 9 of 10 PP's but you cannot give a team that many chances. Even if you kill them of it takes away ice time from key players that don't kill penalties, guy's like Vanek and even if they do they are not out there to score but prevent the other team from scoring.

I am hoping Ruff get's in these guy's grill and gets that into their thick heads. Some of those penalties were lazy and just plain stupid.

Play your game and play within yourselves and things will be fine. Play stupid and you get burned, they have no one to blame but themselves for this loss.

Between the two teams there were 18 powerplays. 36 out of 60 minutes of the game was played on the powerplay. That's a tough night for the penalty killers for both teams.

A couple of them were off setting but good point. It disrupts the flow of the game and the lines.

Any idea when Pronger is expected back? I had know idea he'd be out this long with his hand injury. Who knew the Islanders would have an impact on this series. It was a slapshot from an Islanders player that hit his hand.

All the secrecy is ridiculous. Everyone knows what the injury is. My guess is it's more serious than they thought simply because Lavy won't talk about it.

I like the way the NFL does it. You MUST disclose the players status or get fined.

I agree, but there's only one problem with that for the NHL. With 82 games & 30 teams how the heck would Colin Campbell keep up with it? He's lost as it is.
