Brand new series and best of 3. Both teams proved they can win on the road. Home court may not be a factor in the rest of this series. I still think the winner of this series will win the Western Conference and represent in the NBA Finals.

Not much of a prediction, I know, but the winner of game 5 will win the series

I don't want to take away what the Nuggets did by claiming the Wolves just fumbled it. The Nuggets bench destroyed ours, hit critical shots every time, and just played an awesome game.

I don’t know man.

Every time I watch Gobert play I come away with the same conclusion.

Most egregiously overrated player in the league today and it isn’t close.

Good player and a piece a lot of teams could use.

But not a DPOY in the modern game and he doesn’t bring a ton on the offensive end.

Definitely not worth the hefty contract he comes with IMO.

He's overrated from DPOY standpoint, but not in the context that SAS and ilk are talking. The stuff bk highlighted in his post essentially breaks down to "Jokic played well, Gobert must be trash" lazy type analysis that SAS throws out.

We all saw how Denver responded in games 3 and 4 after getting punched in the mouth the first 2 games after sleepwalking through the Lakers series, now we get to see how the Wolves respond after getting punched in the mouth in games 3 and 4. While they didn‘t sleepwalk through their series with the Suns they’ve never really struggled these playoffs until these last 2 games so game 5 will be a huge test for them.

Outside of Edwards and maybe Reid the entire Wolves team played below their expectations and the game ended up not being a blowout. I think Nuggets have a lot of momentum, and are a good bet to win. I just think the Wolves have plenty to take the series still.

On the Nuggets side MPJ and KCP didn’t play well and every Wolves starter + Reid outshined them so Denver wasn’t even firing on all cylinders either.
