From the Nuggets perspective, the unexpected was 27 points from the three bench players. Including 6 of 9 from three. No debate that was the biggest concern coming into the series. That overcame the 4 point night from MPJ.

I love Embiid's game He does it the right way but Edwards is unstoppable and Jokic is just unbelievable. I like these two guys at the top
It's still Jokic and Embiid.

BTW, I still like Minnesota to win this series. Denver may have the best player in the World, but the Wolves have the better team.

As for Gobert, if he's not producing on defense, then what good is he? Dude is just flat out irrelevant offensively.

Brand new series and best of 3. Both teams proved they can win on the road. Home court may not be a factor in the rest of this series. I still think the winner of this series will win the Western Conference and represent in the NBA Finals.

Not sure anyone can say that the T'Wolves have the better overall team. Both squads virtually tied in the regular season and they're tied in the playoffs. I think these teams are pretty evenly matched. Both have their superstars but the games come down to which role players are going to step up.

Both Rudy and KAT played horrible tonight. Don't let the +/- fool you.

We know they don't watch games. Hell, SAS is still pulling this Knicks superfan schtick despite getting caught earlier this year ranting about guys that had been traded weeks earlier.

Edit: Actually, Perk might watch the games. He's just dumb. Probably the leading candidate for dumbest NBA analyst on TV right now

I will.

The idea of Embiid is better than what Embiid actually is,

If we ever got to see November Joel Embiid dominating in the playoffs?

Then yes. He would be in that conversation.

But we don’t ever see that.

So I believe it is incorrect to put him there until we do.

I don’t know man.

Every time I watch Gobert play I come away with the same conclusion.

Most egregiously overrated player in the league today and it isn’t close.

Good player and a piece a lot of teams could use.

But not a DPOY in the modern game and he doesn’t bring a ton on the offensive end.

Definitely not worth the hefty contract he comes with IMO.

They need to learn from the 2nd half of last nights game (a half they won) that they need to weaponize his size inside on the switches. Just have to live with some of the ugliness that comes with that because it does come with easy buckets and fouls to Denver too.

Why they dont have KAT set some of the screens in a pick and pop and have Rudy running the baseline on certain occasions is beyond me. Not a ton....but once in awhile.
