Will post the series schedule once available. Pretty certain game 1 is this weekend though
For some reason I thought that the next round doesn't start until all series have finished.
Not really. The NBA always want to have a game on the weekends so usually this weekend, it is either game 7 of round 1 or game 1 of the 2nd round on Saturday/Sunday. They just make up for it by giving these teams likely a 3 day break at some point to avoid this series being too far ahead of the other 2nd round series
What do you mean "with no Steph"?I think the Pelicans are going to put up a heck of a fight. With no Steph, this is going to be a very difficult series for the Warriors.
Warriors will probably still pull it off but I wouldn't be shocked if this goes 7.
It was never the case, he's coming back in the 2nd round the only question is when. Speculation points to game 3I thought that Curry wasn't coming back till the 3rd round. Has that changed?

I totally agree---- if Mirotic can keep Draymond near the 3 pt line- Davis will have carte blanche to lose his mind.I really like the Pelicans in this series not because of Davis but Mirotic.
I think he is the X-factor and was perfect for NOLA in that trade.
His defense might not be great, but his job is to pull guys away from Davis with ranged attacks which he does perfectly.
If he can pull Draymond away from the paint, it will be ugly for GSW. They are already challenged down low.
I will go Pelicans in 6, but if Steph Curry is back soon and healthy I change that to Warriors in 5.
If it's a high scoring affair and Curry is back, which he will be, the Ws will be losing their minds just as much. In other words Ws in 6.I totally agree---- if Mirotic can keep Draymond near the 3 pt line- Davis will have carte blanche to lose his mind.
Some questions, hopes and dreams for this series:
-Lets hope Jrue Holiday runs Steph ragged on the offensive end
-Lets hope Rondo beats the shit out Steph on the defensive end.
-Can Draymond, despite the height deficiency, guard Anthony Davis?
-If Draymond can't cover Davis, who does?
-Who guards Durant for the Pelicans? Etwuan Moore? YIKES
-Looks like, for the most part, the Pels play a 8 man rotation with not many minutes going elsewhere.
-Will the Warriors bench need to be good this series? Iggy is a year older and he has been starting for Curry further weakening the bench if Curry is still out. Cook, Livingston, Looney, West does not seem very intimidating.
-If McGee is playing Davis will Davis massacre him or can McGee hold his own?
-Can Mirotic keep Draymond honest defensively and prevent him from helping as much as he usually does?
