I said it earlier that CJ fucked up that last shot. Still plenty of time for George to heave it up.
I liked the Cavs defense there---- blitz George and make him make a decision like that. Put a team like that in a situation where they have to make a pressure decision instead of just letting it play out. Ill guarantee you next time they are better prepared. It was a good strategy employed by Lue.

Because they haven't figured it out defensively yet and it looks like Lebron faded a bit down the stretch. He was 10-13 with 26 points at one point in the game and finished 12-20 with 32 points. So, at the end he went 2-7.

14-27 from the line while the Pacers went 17-20 didn't help them either.

Why up 1, with 20 seconds left does James launch a 30' 3?
If he drives to the hoop he's prob scoring or going to the line.

It would've been a fireable offense if he had left JR Smith on an island without Lebron coming to help.

You think it's a good strategy to leave an opponent unguarded , under the basket, down 1 with 7 seconds to go?

Yes, send help, but you can't leave a player unguarded where they did right under the basket.
George just didn't see what was right in front of him.

:noidea: The aforementioned fading late? He played some heavy minutes in a season where he was supposed to get to play less.

I'm not saying that he's running out of gas. But it might be worth watching. There's a point where all of those deep playoff runs start working against a guy.

Maybe, Idk.
He also could have passed the ball.
I've seen him make that shot, but it's still not a smart one in that situation.
If they would have lost, it would be much more talked about.

So you have James 1 and both Love and Kyrie in the top 10, but won't bet on them?
Please stop already.

Cavs come in on a 4 game losing streak. The Pacers come in on a 5 game winning streak.

We saw how much that matters.

Wait you're still bragging about this game 1 win? Seriously

You want a cookie for your 1 point home win after shooting nearly 55%.

The Pacers were 13-28 on the road for a reason.

Haven't read the first 18 pages but I presume it's because the dicklickers are claiming what a great team this is...

despite almost getting fucked up!

Too funny.
How many of those 5 wins were against tank teams or teams resting payers?
How aout the 7 games previous to those where they were 1-6 with the only win coming against Philly?
You can beat your chest over the win, but as of today, the Cavs still look vulnerable in the East.
What odds are you giving me that they don't make it to the Finals?
Give me 5-1 since you continue to say they are a mortal lock?

Ok, that's really taking things out of context. I just looked up the Pacers last 5 games - TOR, MIL, @ORL, @PHI, ATL

The last 3 games are a joke considering they went against two lottery teams and the Hawks didn't even play their starters the last game.

If CJ Miles makes that shot, it's a completely different story. And at no point did the Pacers look like a good team either. I said it countless times in the thread that the Pacers defense looked as abysmal as the Cavs.

All that really matters is the Cavs D is still a mess. And their scoring output went down each quarter yesterday. 34, 32, 26 & 17. The offense disappeared in the 4th quarter & they lost another double digit 2nd half lead. You should be happy George didn't take the last shot or chances are the Pacers have a 1-0 lead.

George only had to see the unguarded player standing under the basket.
