Didn't know where else to post this, but I just came across this guy from Japan named Shohei Otani. They're calling him their version of Babe Ruth because he's a pitcher and a hitter. Dude has a 102 MPH fastball, with elite splitter and some other plus pitches. But the crazy part is he also acts as a DH for the team in games he doesn't pitch. Look at this 2016 numbers for him:

Pitching:
21 Starts, 10-4 record, 1.86 ERA, 174 Strikeouts, 4 CG, 1 SO

Hitting:
104 Games, 382 PA's, .322 Average, 22 Homeruns, 67 RBI, .416 OBP, 65 R and 7 SB's.

And he's only 22.

MLB teams are sending dozens over to Japan to scout him heavily to see if he's the real deal. They said he could get 200M over in Japan, but he wants to play in the Majors and has said money doesn't matter. He's already made a ton off of endorsements and contracts in Japan.

Just thought this was crazy.

There's also a college player here right now playing for Louisville that just won player of the year, he's the team's ace and the number 3 hitter.

His name is Brendan McKay, he's a 21 year old lefty and hits even when he's pitching.

He went 9-3 with a 2.31 ERA this year and ht .356 with 17 HR's and 56 RBI's.
