A useful idiot.
Oh, a two-hander after play was over. Well, Backstrom deserves it then and we haven't seen that from the Bs all series long.

Hunter just said that he thinks that it will be rescinded, FWIW.

Hunter probably told Nik to give the closest Bruin he could find the "Turgeon treatment"
Anyways im outty. Peace SportsHoopla folks
A detergent or something?
Lol @ loling
Malkin in one of the Finals a few years ago had his match penalty rescinded. It's pretty common. The league tends to differentiate between a player who goes a little overboard in a late scrum (Malkin's case) vs. somebody who goes buckwild to "send a message" (Adams the other night).
Which category did Backstrom fall under? Didn't see it but I'd imagine that former.
In playoff hockey, that is a hockey play. I bet it gets rescinded and the league pays Backstrom $2500 as a reverse fine for his troubles.
Here it is...
Not good. But not different from what we see a Bruin do several times every game. Lucic was handing out cheap shots like they were fucking pancakes tonight.
They should also award Dale Hunter 10 grand for keeping the tv audience engaged right until the end of the game...
