CBC stayed with the play and showed Chimera give Chara a pretty good elbow. Although it looked like big Z might have embelllished a little.

Yeah, I rewound the DVR to see what happened to Chara. I have a tough time saying how hurt someone should be from getting an elbow to the head; they tend to hurt. I understand Jason's frustration there, but he has to know you can't elbow him in the head.

With the exception of the real skill players who aren't very physical, they all throw those shots. It's a physical game and sometimes it goes to the very edge. I have no problem with it as long as BOTH teams are getting away with the extra shit.

Why does god love Tim Tebow and hate the Chicago Cubs? Some answers we will just never get.

Well, Tebow's parents were missionaries so he shines the light a little more on Tim. As for the Cubs? Have a "bring your billygoat day" at Wrigley, and maybe let an all white cat run across the field. That should change things. :thumb:

I hear you, but the more they let those things go, the more there is a chance for things to get out of hand. And the league doesn't seem real keen on letting elbows to the head go lately, so I think Chimera's got to be smarter than to deliver that shot. He's taking a risk of putting his team and himself in a bad spot with it, not to mention actually hurting the receiver of the elbow.

Both teams have done a great job blocking shots this series.
