Notes...
QB.... Brees in the 4th seems to be my motto this year. Stafford in the 11th was more me not letting the two teams left w/o a QB to gain value.... and Brees has an early bye. Passing on Floyd for Brees looks bad if Stafford produces.

RB.... Didn't like my Jennings pick in the 7th, but he'll probably be helpful... missed out on DJax with the pick. Took Coleman in the 10th as I didn't like the WR value at the time.

WR.... Not strong, but good for me right? I don't expect Decker to be so consistent, but maybe some bigger games here and there, he's under rated for sure. Couldn't pass my affair with Smokey in the 6th, especially since Langford went right before me. Don't really have a 4th guy though, and I kind of need one for week one with Brown being so limited all preseason. Gamble on Pryor week one? (or check TE**)

TE.... Taking Gates in the 9th caused me to miss Snead... but my next TE target (Cook) also went on the turn, so not too upset. Took Allen after the Rams were sniped right in front of me in the 13th. With Chud calling plays and Fleener gone, maybe Allen has a career year in the waiting? **I actually can start both, as our 3rd WR is actually a TE flex option as well.

DST.... Patriots have a pretty decent schedule. Don't like week one at Zona, so took the Eagles "good" matchup in the 15th. Which sucks because my next pick was taken on the turn, Alf Morris. Oh well. So I took Matthews to round it out.

K.... we're actually in the last round... longest draft ever! So I'll grab one here soon.

just read yesterday that Decker was the only WR last season to finish every game as a top 36 WR. Only had a few games in the top 10 and a few in the bottom 12, so was pretty much the most consistent WR2 in the league last year, for fantasy and real life purposes.

I think you did fine at WR after getting Brees/Shady/Bell with early picks.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Almost every game was 10-13 points. No monsters, no duds. I expect him to have a couple of each this year.

I wish I had patience. I dropped Pryor before the game last week. I needed a 4th WR in the draft... and I DRAFTED HIM! So why is my trigger finger so itchy? Targets were there... I got scared of Kessler.

So my new pickup of Howard gave me a nice RB4 (yeah, not really needed in a non flex). Still, depth is best when used at RB... but alas, with Decker's shoulder hurting, and John Brown not quite all the way back (hoping he will be next week)... I made a trade.

Traded Howard and Jennings for Fuller and Ebron.

I found myself nabbing DWill and trying to get a guy like Booker that looks to have a real chance to win the starting role in 3-4 weeks in multiple money leagues - I just like the potential combo of a solid RB2 for every week between those 2 to go with any early round RBs you have, regardless of format, as long as you start 2 RBs.

And this is what I am talking about.........you thought Booker was going to steal Anderson's job?

Not bad, but in my league Brees was second round. I honestly don't know if it's worth it to get him that early. But jumping for a good player is better than drafting a bad player at bpa value.

Nothing really. Last year the "zero RB" strategy was all the hype. So I just recapped my main league's first round for shits and giggles. It was myself who took the "top" WR first a lot, but was surprised to see how little they broke into the first round. 12 years and only once over three WR picked in the 1st.... last year with five.

Just a nothing burger which evolved into my actual draft.

I dug it out yesterday due to disgust with my Jordan Howard trade... and worse, my Pryor drop.
