The blame russ narrative from lakers fans is so lazy and dumb
All I know is it’s not deniable that the Lakers brought out the very worst in him.

Also just because you played with great players doesn't mean you had a title caliber team.

Can make a great argument that his teams even with those great players were not title caliber teams since kd left okc.

The Rockets with him and harden was never looked at as a title contender....same goes for his okc team with melo and pg

Yeah, I do not see him being into trading PG and Leonard to start over.

Ballmer is 67, not exactly a spring chicken.
You are insane…lol

@msgkings322 is saying money will not be the reason he blows it up.

Not that he won’t.

The Clippers are not winning with 2 stars who miss 40 games a year EACH.

He might not tear it to the studs and leave it.

But, he will not bring this shitshow back intact.

LOL.
This is not the flex you think it is when you remember he only played like 10 games with PG and Kawhi and CP3, PG, Harden have exactly zero rings themselves.

No tiles. None.

Since he’s off the Lakers roster now, we gonna add D Lo to the trash list if the Lakers get snuffed.

He played with….

Lebron
AD
Curry
Draymond
Austin Reaves * smiles*
KAT
Gobert
Edwards
Kobe
Ingram

No titles. None

Lol

Not even half as lazy and dumb as saying it's Lakers fans while white knighting him.

There's a reason he's on what? His 6th team in 5 years.

The story is the same everywhere he goes. Lots of numbers, fewer and fewer wins, no titles.

Good win, but the Lakers were inconsistent again.

Ja was amazing, especially in the 4th quarter.

It will be interesting to see what happens with @Mecca favorite player. I don't think he should be suspended.

But I didn't think Draymond should have been either.

Brooks didn't get into it with the fans like Dray did though.

Yeah, he played a lot better with the Clipps.

Not really. Last I saw, his numbers were very close.

The difference is that the Clippers have the depth to be able to sit him when he's not playing well. The Lakers didn't have that. It also helps that the Clippers aren't paying him $47 million. lol

His role with the Clippers is just about perfect for him. When he's having a game like he had yesterday, they can keep him in, let him do his thing and feed off of that anger and intensity that they lack and he brings. When he's not, they can sit him.

His shooting numbers with the Clipps? 49% and 36%

the Lakers? 42% and 30%

that is a lot better. His other numbers are close but I was referring to his shooting numbers in my original post you quoted

If he gets a role like he has with the Clipps or another team....that would be ideal. He is showing he can still play. Just not at the level he had most of his career.

Yeah, I hadn't looked in a little while...so he's improved. I was also talking more about points scored, etc.

A good chunk of that is how the Clippers are able to use him.

When he's off, they can sit him, so he doesn't have as many of those games like the recent one where he went 3 for 19.

I wonder if Lue has tied his minutes to his defense? Because in this series, he's played probably the best defense of his career.

If the Clippers don't blow it up, they'd be smart to keep him. Especially at a cheap price.
