As for Claxton, I respect his game. He's been the best player for the Nets IMO, playing solid defense, making a surprising number of shots, etc. He's done everything right except one thing: He's talked too much. He needs to thug it out like he is, but quietly. He is drawing too much attention to himself through his taunting and talking trash. He's not a star and the refs are going to target him for that.

Last night was ridiculous. They lost control of the game early. No excuse for Embiid’s actions. However, that’s what happens when a guy gets hacked all series without calls. The Nets are a jump shooting team and somehow they have 22–13 foul shot advantage last night. I don’t usually join in on the officiating criticism here but last night was next level unprofessional. I would expect better professionalism from a high school crew in an ability to handle a game. I blame the league as well.

They sweep them without Embiid. That team has done all they could, had last night rigged in their direction (shit with the way he played the Embiid non ejection probably helped him) and still can’t win a game. They can’t close out. Bridges isn’t that guy. He may be someday but not now. When you’re left to close with DinShiddie that won’t end well.

Vaughn is a douche bag. However, it looks like the play he tweaked his knee was a contest at the rim vs Cam Johnson.


I think if the Sixers weren’t up 3-0 and it was 2-1 or something like that, he plays. The Sixers have enough to give Embiid the rest to let the knee rehabilitate a bit and still get the brooms out today. The Nets were under .500 after the KD trade. They’re likely the worst team in the playoffs. It’s either them or the banged up T’Wolves.

I also think his knee wasn’t right going into the game. He just didn’t look like Embiid all night Thursday night. I don’t care about all the nonsense. You don’t get punked but goal one is ending this series. That being said, if Claxton or anybody is pulling some bull shit, Doc lies in wait with MonTrashZel Harrell. He waits for somebody to come back on after sitting and he has Harrell throwing elbows and being over the top with the physicality. That’s about the only role Trash should have on this team.
