Kyrie Hater
Just watched the last one, Tobias makes a step towards him and Brunson just runs into him. That shit is weak. No effort at an actual shot attempt.
I agree.
But that is the rule.
Harris can’t step toward him there.

Detroit led pretty much the entire game. Weak shit
I separate what Brunson does slightly from flopping. What Brunson does is foul baiting because he draws guys into real fouls, in very annoying ways, true, but they are fouls. To me flopping is trying to draw something when there is no foul. Semantics, maybe, but there is a difference in my mind.I agree.

You got more shit than a Christmas turkeyI don’t love watching it either.
But you aren’t a smart competitor if you aren’t trying to use every advantage you have to get ahead within the rules.
Guy talks about all Brunson’s “talent”.
He is 6 foot nothing. Not fast or explosive by NBA standards. He flat out does not have NBA athleticism.
Brunson is who he is as a player because of his hard work developing an amazing skill set AND his crafty play. It is a large part of what makes him so effective.
While I don’t particularly enjoy watching guys who play like he does, you simply have to appreciate players like Brunson who make the absolute most of the talent that they have.
And if you tell me he gets there any other way?
Sorry, but you are wrong.
Trae was fined by the league for an inappropriate gesture made after being called for a flop. It wasn’t for the flop itself. And Brunson isn’t exactly flopping either, he is foul baiting; annoying, not illegal.Trae young was told to knock it off years ago, foul baiting…
If Brunson was so obvious, why hasn’t the league told him enough?

Me too, I'm now going Knicks in 8I want to change my pick in this one
Time to start a new one?The streak is dead!
8 days thibs will be firedMe too, I'm now going Knicks in 8
One hates to see it, but it's probably time. All the rosters of talent he has been given8 days thibs will be fired
I agree.

If it's not losing playoff games, I'm all in!Time to start a new one?
What are you going to make the rule, if you are shooting a jump shot you can only jump vertically? Not seeing an easy rule fix.Kind of my contention that the rule should change lol. Sure, Harris should move more side to side but he was never going to foul him until Brunson intentionally rammed him. A lot different than Guarding someone in the lane and you know the deal.

Trae and every other player does that. It is not what he was disciplined for.Trae was leaning into an opponent after leaving his feet for a shot…
And Brunson is flopping…
Talkin bout 2 different issues with TraeTrae and every other player does that. It is not what he was disciplined for.
It's splitting hairs, but to me foul baiting is different than straight up flopping as I spelled out above.
And when did the league crack down on him for this? The only thing I could find was when he made a gesture for being called for a flop.Talkin bout 2 different issues with Trae
1 im talkin bout has nothing to do with Trae floppin , it was when he was beyond the arc , and he moved into the defender for a foul while in the air to create contact, that was foul baitin.
as far back as 2020 there are many videos of him foul drawin / batin on attempted 3’sAnd when did the league crack down on him for this? The only thing I could find was when he made a gesture for being called for a flop.
He wasn't the only one who was doing this when they decided to change/enforce the rule for jumping sideways, etc... when shooting 3s
