Hey let’s ignore the obvious foul call and fuck the other team over and cost them the game. Great idea!

I'm speaking in general terms, not the minutiae of one individual call. If you're going to allow a review of an unrelated call result in a foul call, allow teams to challenge dead ball non-calls as well. It's obviously impossible to challenge a live ball non-call without seriously changing the rules.

Didn't say that at all. Said that challenging an out of bounds call shouldn't result in a foul unless you also allow dead ball non-calls also be reviewed. Shouldn't be able to game the system to get a foul call.

I agree they should be able to challenge those as well, but you can’t just ignore the correct call when you are already reviewing a replay.

Depends on the rule. They used to only be able to review the aspect that was challenged (and that's how it works in the NFL).
