Are you saying a sweep is not a blowout?

Kinda depends on the situation. You can lose a series 4-2 with each game lost by 20+ points, or you can lose a series 4-0 with each loss by just a couple of points.

However in the Lakers case, they certainly did get blown out by the Nuggets.

It’s been well documented and called out by multiple teams in the league about the Lakers whistle.

But sure, when 40 people are telling you one thing but you don’t wanna believe it, it’s them who are wrong. The Lakers just play harder than everyone else, that has to be it.

Also Denver has won 8 in a row vs LA including a sweep in the WCF and the season series this year, I’m not preparing for anything.
Uh, where was the “Lakers whistle” in the WCF or the other losses?

Yup like Shannon Sharpe saying the Thunder are the weakest 1 seedin a long time. Stephen A and the other dude came unwound, which is what it’s all about. Taking turns coming unwound.
And we watch and comment and they get rich

In a 4 game WCF series, the Lakers had 107 free throws to Denver‘s 81 for a +26 differential or 6.5 more per game.

In a 3 game regular season series, the Lakers had 53 free throws to Denver’s 26 for a +27 differential or 9 more per game.

Yes we all know LA is the most physical team in the history of the league and that’s why they get more calls, but would it be fair to say that without even half of those “they totally earned it calls” the games wouldn’t have been even half as close as they were?

Now against someone like Golden State who isn’t as physical a free throw differential makes some sense, but last I checked Denver isn’t Golden State and doesn’t play the same style of basketball.

Cool story. Crying about the refs is gayer than RuPaul giving Elton John a footrub. Especially when you sweep

No one‘s crying about the refs, I’m just pointing out the obvious. Plus the fact that we did sweep pretty much means I’m not doing it from a “bitter fan“ perspective.

Crying about the refs is gayer than Mike Brady in the same potato sack with Bobby.

“Golly Dad, something feels real pokey like.”

Why don't you post much anymore in the NBA forum, @Black Adam?

Not as cool as the PF?

Saw the other day in a different thread @Black Adam sayz he's too good for the NBA talk right now. :heh:

Which I took as he knows the Lakers will get bitch slapped by the Nuggets so he's gonna focus on the NHL playoffs.
