Even when healthy AD gets outplayed by Jokic.
And he should feel okay about that, because by winning last night they'll now avoid playing the Kings and Sabonis, who seriously outplays AD.
In fact...I believe (tho not 100% certain) he's winless as a Laker against Sabonis/Kings.
Isn't he??

Lakers in 6

This is the best opportunity for LA to beat the Nuggets. Get it done in round 1, where there are a ton of extra rest days.

I would give them no chance in the conference finals, but I like the upset in the early fresh legs/injury free round.

This will be when Denver is healthiest as well though.

It’s crazy that if you only watch television analysts the Nuggets seem like the underdogs in this series. All these people like Skip, Nick Wright, etc are only as confident as they are because they know the type of whistle the Lakers get.

It’s all just hot take shit. This is what the world of sports media has become. The market is saturated with people trying to stand out so they try and out hot take each other over and over and over again. Nobody holds them accountable for the stupid shit they say because as soon as it’s time to call them out, they’ve already moved on to the next stupid shit they’re gonna say.

The Nuggets fan already preparing the built in excuse if they lose.

It’s been well documented and called out by multiple teams in the league about the Lakers whistle.

But sure, when 40 people are telling you one thing but you don’t wanna believe it, it’s them who are wrong. The Lakers just play harder than everyone else, that has to be it.

Also Denver has won 8 in a row vs LA including a sweep in the WCF and the season series this year, I’m not preparing for anything.

Yup like Shannon Sharpe saying the Thunder are the weakest 1 seedin a long time. Stephen A and the other dude came unwound, which is what it’s all about. Taking turns coming unwound.

Last season in the WCF the game results were 6, 5, 11 and 2 points. Not quite the blowouts Denver fans would have somebody believe.

LOL

They don’t have to be blowouts, but there was only 4 games so who knows how things would’ve changed if LA could actually win a game. Especially at home.

But this year‘s playoffs are different than even the regular season where Denver swept them again 3-0.

I wouldn’t be shocked to see LA win tonight. I picked Denver in 6 meaning I’m expecting them to lose 2 games.

Pretty sure the first requirement to say a sweep was not a blowout would be for it not to have been a sweep.

Lakers in 6. Reaves has stated that the Lakers are determined to end the Nuggies dominance over them beginning with this series.

Are people not allowed to pick against the nuggets?
