Maybe Simmons will take more of the load. Yes I’m jokingThey have to hope they can beat Atlanta without Embiid. Fuck me.

I just saw that. I didn't know a meniscus tear could be a day-to-day injury.
He’s 7’2’’. They’re going to err on the side of caution because of the pounding a man that size puts on his body. Sixers need to nut up and get to the ECF without him. It's not fully torn. Apparently its small enough to where it could repair itself with proper care and management
Embiid has a slight torn meniscus. He's out for Game 5 and is day to day.
Fuck these playoffs
I don’t disagree but Embiid is fucking Green Eggs and Ham. He gets hurt on a plane or on a train. He gets hurt on a bus or with Gus. He gets hurt here. He gets hurt there. He gets hurt everywhere.Starting the season as early as they did is looking worse by the day.
Embiid is always going to be injury prone. I just hope he can have one season where he makes it through without injury and hopefully wins a ring.
That sounds slow to meIt's not fully torn. Apparently its small enough to where it could repair itself with proper care and management
Under definitelyOver/under 39.5% shooting for Westbrook tonight? For the series he's shooting 33%.
What was a better choice? Just move the season permanently later I guess, start in January end in August?Starting the season as early as they did is looking worse by the day.

Hindsight and all....Yeah, I think that would have been better. The NBA is basically ignored until about Christmas anyway because it's competing with the NFL and CFB.
Start the season on Christmas and they're only competing with the end of the NFL and CFB seasons and the playoffs only compete with the dog days of MLB. They could probably set the schedule so the season ended mid-late July.
The only real issue I see might be pushback from the players re: losing most of their summer.

I thought maybe 80. I know Magic was a rookie when he played the 5. I think 79 was Magic v Bird Michigan St v Indiana St. But I could be off on that. Either way bro...I’m on board. Simmons as a passer or post up off of the block or the elbow is where it’s at going forward. It is time for Ben Simmons to find his inner Magic Johnson and play his heart out like Magic did against the Sixers in 1979, I think that was the year Kareem got hurt and Magic took over.
